Technology, projects and drilling (TPD) is Equinor's business area responsible for research and technology, project development and execution, well delivery and procurement. Having the corporate responsibility for technology implementation and project development puts us in the middle of making Equinor a competitive company facing the low carbon society. .Job Description• Research and development related to next generation offshore wind structures, both floating and fixed • Development of design methods and tools including full scale validation • Perform and develop advanced integrated analysis of offshore wind turbines • Provide technical expertise to the offshore wind projects • Collaborate with internal and external experts to drive improvement within the discipline area • Develop and manage projects in compliance with Equinors’s internal technology development and implementation processQualifications• Minimum MSc degree in marine hydrodynamics or structural design. • Experience in advanced methods and tools for modelling and analysis of complex dynamic systems, preferably for floating wind turbines • Experience from large scale offshore wind developments • Data expert with strong interest in solving challenging technical problems in offshore wind operations in a low cost environment • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English • Relevant experience may compensate for formal qualifications. • 7-10 years of relevant experience preferred.Personal Qualities• Analytical and work systematically to build expertise • Commercial mind-set with an ability and interest in developing technology projects with strong business cases for capex and opex reduction • The successful candidate will be highly motivated with excellent team building and knowledge sharing skills • To succeed in this position it is critical that you enjoy working with other technical specialists in your own field and across disciplines • Ability to live by our safety and security expectations.We OfferNot just a job: a career.
