We are looking for skilled and experienced marine engineers to work in our renewable engineering department. Graduates and candidates with limited experience will also be considered and relevant training will be given to get familiar with the role/tasks. The right candidate will join major new build international projects for offshore wind HVDC converter platforms and will also take part in bids and studies.
As a marine engineer, you will be responsible for marine engineering tasks such as design, calculations, analyses etc. You will also be responsible for planning and execution of marine operations. You will work as a project engineer with technical focus or have lead positions in projects.
Typical tasks marine engineering:
Design, calculations, analyses and documentation of all planned marine operations for construction and installation of the object (platform, topside, jacket etc).
Work with interface towards transport and installation (T&I) contractor.

Typical tasks marine operations:
Plan and execute yard and inshore operations such as internal transport and load out, lifting operation, inclination test, mooring, seafastening etc.
Plan and execute offshore operations such as tow-out/sea transport, positioning and set-down, offshore lift, jacket pile installation etc.

Qualifications:
Master or bachelor degree – Marine.
We are looking for both junior and senior candidates. For senior candidates it is preferable with some years experience as marine engineer in greenfield or large modification projects.
Good knowledge to rules and guidelines for marine engineering/operations
Experience with PDMS/E3D and Navisworks as 3D tools

Multidiscipline understanding
Good communication skills
Knowledge and interest for renewable energy and offshore wind
Have a high loyalty to deadlines and quality requirements
Be proactive, seeking advice and share own experiences with others
Communicate well in English – both oral and in writing
Ability to understand new rules and regulations
