An exciting opportunity has arisen as Fleet Superintendent, reporting to Team Manager in Aftermarket Projects – Systems & Performance. In this role, you will be a part of the newly established Extended Fleet Care™ team and responsible for the technical management of our portfolio of Extended Fleet Care™ contracts. You will work proactively with our product experts to make sure equipment is being monitored and maintained in the best possible way to avoid downtime, and closely with our customers, contract manager and the wider KM organization to plan and manage required maintenance to ensure safe and robust operation of all KM equipment onboard the vessels.
Key accountabilities
Close collaboration with customers, vessel managers and crew, to plan and execute both planned and unplanned maintenance.
Work proactively together with our product experts to make sure equipment is being monitored and maintained in the best possible way and avoid downtime.
Assist contract manager in maintaining and forecasting budgets.
Plan dry dock activities together with customer and yard.
Utilise data and analytics to identify actions that can be taken to improve vessel performance, using the latest of KM technology.
Contribute to further develop the Extended Fleet Care™ concept and assist our global sales team on new offerings.
Qualifications and experience
Preferably experience as Chief Engineer/1st Engineer/2nd Engineer or Vessel Manager
Deep understanding of machinery and propulsion equipment and how these should be maintained
Experience from maintenance and docking management
General knowledge of rules and regulations relevant to maritime industry
Knowledge and experience with KM equipment are beneficial
You are able to

adhere to company rules and procedures and execute plans with commitment and determination
use a methodical and systematic approach, plan ahead, define clear priorities and allocates resources effectively
produce fresh and imaginative ideas and solutions
