For our Offshore Technology department in Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy in Brande, Denmark, we are looking for a skilled Project Manager to lead development projects of Electrical System design for future offshore wind turbines. You will join a PMO department of experienced project managers in a supportive and professional environment, where we expect to learn from you, just as you can expect to learn from us!

How to contribute to our vision

You will lead large scale and complex product development projects with responsibility for the Electrical System domain and manage stakeholders across the entire business, with full domain project responsibility in terms of time, cost and quality delivered - from scoping phase until project closure.

You are responsible for delivering technically robust and fully compliant designs to the best possible product cost, and to execute the project in accordance with Siemens Gamesa Technology processes and tools.

Overseeing the entire project, and covering all project management disciplines, you lead the execution of the project in close cooperation with the technically responsible engineers, technical project managers and the Chief Engineer.

Coordination and close cooperation with other domains/modules, prototype workshop and supply-chain, as well as with external suppliers and partners, is a crucial part of your workday.

As a skilled PM, you improve ways of working together with your project team, as well as together with the rest of the organization.

You foster trust and cooperation at all layers of the organization and can tackle even difficult situations with a constructive and positive attitude. You are a team player and a natural networker with the ability to work with many and different stakeholders within a complex business.

It is natural for you to keep a holistic overview of your project, without missing out on the important details and the people involved.

You have a structured approach to your assignments and can handle project scope changes occurring in a dynamic R&D environment to the full satisfaction of your stakeholders.

To be successful in this role you:

Have experience with project management of complex New Product Development projects with multiple stakeholders and suppliers. It is an advantage if you have documented your experience through relevant Project Management certification (for example IPMA B/C, PMP, Prince2 Foundation/Practitioner) and a relevant project track record
Preferably, you have experience working with Agile project management
Preferably, you have a background or experience with wind turbine design or application
Preferably, you have a degree within electrical, electromechanical or marine engineering combined with several years of experience of project management, preferable within product development / R&D
Possess strong communication skills in English, both orally and in writing
