Are you comfortable with and have successfully tried leading a number of talented people?Tasks & responsibilities: You will……be responsible for setting a clear global strategy as well as objectives and targets for HSE in Global Supply Chain Management (GSCM). Furthermore, your most important task will be to provide strong and visible leadership as you will manage, develop and coach several HSE managers and cascade corporate HSE strategy and guidance to them and other employees across all levels of the organisation. In relation to this, you will ensure consistency of HSE Support throughout the dedicated sites and managers.A large part of your job will furthermore consist of developing, implementing, driving and improving the HSE strategy of GSCM, while aligning the HSE strategy with the overall GSCM business strategy and KPIs.You will also be responsible for:Setting up a ‘fit-for-purpose’ operational organisationProviding New Market Entry supportSupporting major Incident Investigations and follow up on site auditsReviewing and revising HSE documentation when requiredHighlighting adverse safety trends and ensuring adequate safety campaigns are implementedParticipating in industry body meetings, seminars and training sessions in order to increase industry and legislative awarenessIdentifying opportunities to reduce costs while enhancing quality of servicesResponding to client concerns regarding HSE mattersVisiting sites regularlySkills & experience: Our new colleague……has a minimum of 10 years of experience as a safety professional or manager. It is of great importance that you have management and leadership experience, as the ability to motivate and inspire an intercultural and diverse team will greatly impact your success in this position.
