Assignment Description
Support Drilling Supervisor (DSV) with well site engineering tasks, both drilling and completion, f.eks. follow up road maps with data engineer
prepare/check talliesequipment checkscementing calculations3rd party documentation and procedures
Facilitate offshore Detailed Operating Procedures (DOP) process (complete draft DOPs as provided from onshore with comments from involved 3rd parties & rig contractor, facilitate DOP / Risk Assessment meeting – DSV & toolpusher to sign off DOP)Compile as done DOP and record feedback (comments, lessons learned, improvement suggestions) from involved partiesPrepare bi-weekly lessons learnt/performance summaryMaintain time-/performance trackerParticipate in relevant meetings and where possible represent WDNO drilling & wells on behalf of DSVAssist with arrival meeting and introduction for new personnelInput to bi-weekly HSE and operational meetingsFollow up KPI’s on daily basis in ProNovaSupport/follow up rig contractor on rental equipment (return, certificates…)Support DSV with logistics (look ahead, equipment overview/backload optimization) – this should not be the main task!Follow up towards vendors to ensure correct equipment and material is available onboardTogether with service companies carry out deck checks and ensure all equipment is fit for purposeInput to daily cost controller
Qualifications Required
General for the WSE Drilling position on Brage offshore experience as Drilling Engineer in Norway, whilst for the WSE (Drilling & Completion on West Mira/Deepsea Aberdeen experience from offshore subsea drilling and completion in Norway
Minimum BSc degree in petroleum engineering or other relevant education Minimum 3-5 years’ experience working with drilling and completion including writing activity programmes and operational instructionsProven competence within drilling and wellsValid Norwegian offshore health certificate and offshore survival training certificateIWCF well control certificateGood knowledge of subsurface disciplinesGood knowledge of regulations and relevant standards
Personal qualities
Ability to work independently and as a team playerWell-developed interpersonal skillsVery good communicating skillsFluent in English. Knowledge of Norwegian is desirable.
