OSM Maritime is looking to strengthen our crew management team with a Recruitment Manager.
Duties and responsibilities:
Recruit and select potential candidates using various platforms to reach the right audience
Advertise vacancies appropriately in company website and social media
Conduct interviews and assess if candidates have relevant skills, competencies, and experience
Regular communication with candidates
Check crew documents and certification and highlight training needs before the mobilization
Assist Marine HR Manager with all aspects of crew planning and logistics as per Vessel/ Customer’s allocation when required including but not limited to:
Schedule personnel crew changes, flight arrangements, accommodation, and any other logistics requirements like visa and work permit
Arrange training for crew according to the Training and Competence matrix based on the Company’s standards and procedures
Invoicing and claims
Next of kin and onshore emergency response follow up
Previous experience as Recruitment coordinator/manager in the Maritime industry, preferably with offshore units or or experience as Crew coordinator/manager.
High level of knowledge connected to relevant rules and regulations applying for the crewing industry (STCW /MLC/ Offshore rules/regulations etc.)
Good knowledge of national and international trade union Agreements
Good communication skills and fluent in English and Norwegian, or other Scandinavian language
Overall good knowledge in use of IT programs, especially Microsoft Office
