MacGregor GDS Projects Division is looking for Project Assistant.
In this role you will be responsible for processing and controlling of all service project activities in accordance with project execution guideline in cooperation with the Project Manager.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
The supporting activities include for example: System maintenance of all projects; Sourcing and Purchasing; Logistics
Assist project department with cost calculations and obtaining offers from external vendors
Manage internal parties as applicable and be single point of contact
Monitor project progress KPI’s, make adjustments as required to ensure successful completion
Negotiate and close agreements with external vendors for parts deliveries and logistic service
Coordinate the company transport activity for best possible cost efficiency and do follow up accordingly
Maintain good working relationships within the Service Project Team
Maintain the status reporting on all problems identified and record all corrective actions in a timely, accurate and adequate manners for lessons learnt
Perform any ad-hoc activities as per request of direct superior
Ensure compliance to Service Project Team process.
What you'll need to succeed:
Relevant at Bachelor level
Relevant work experience with documented results may compensate for some formal education.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in Order processing position and transport of heavy materials.
Experience with simple to complex query handling
Proficient using SAP
Experience with tax and custom rules for international shipments.
Technical understanding, read and understand drawings and technical documentations
Customer service focus and interpersonal skills
Problem solving, organisational and communication skills
Hands-on experience working with a procurement solutions in the Requisition-to-Receipt area, as well as solutions related to procurement analytics
Previous experience with Google Office tools
Excellent written and oral English, second language will be considered as advantage
Good at communicating in a professional manner
Display a strong work ethic and ability to comply with internal controls and policies
Ability to work under pressure to strict deadlines.
