Shipping is an industry that is expected to continue growing during the years to come due to increased transport needs. This creates both a huge challenge, to increase capacity while reducing emissions, as well as a great opportunity for Stena Teknik.
We offer you the opportunity to come on board and help us develop Naval Architecture and Project Management solutions for a sustainable future!We offer a role where you together with the team support and manage projects within the maritime sector. As a Naval Architect, you will be the technical lead for projects that supports Stena’s business areas such as design and construction, innovating and implementing energy saving and emission reducing solutions, as well as offering technical support for maintaining and improving the existing Stena fleet.
You will participate in international work groups as a representative for Stena Teknik. A close cooperation and communication with Stena’s business units are of utmost importance as you have to contribute with your expertise and competence. You will closely follow the development of environment and safety regulations, as well as technology development with the objectives to propose improvements to ongoing and new projects.
About You
We are looking for a person with Naval Architecture background and with experience from project management within the shipping industry. If you have ship or offshore unit newbuilding experience it is an advantage.
We expect you to have a university degree in Marine Technology such as Naval Architecture. You have knowledge of rules & regulations and standards, as well as experience from working in an international environment with an ability to express yourself in English, both verbally and written.
