We are currently looking for two new colleagues to fill the exciting role as Operational Project Managers. Help us deliver vital components to our clients and experience a challenging, yet rewarding, job.
How to contribute to our vision
In Offshore Service Logistics – Heavy Lift we are responsible for exchanging the main components on offshore wind turbines within our client portfolio. As an operational project manager, you will be responsible for coordinating entire maritime logistics operations from A-Z and oversee the delivery of components with a high degree of precision and accountability. You will coordinate with relevant internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely delivery on site. Daily tasks will include, among others:
Project management related to resources, logistics and deliverables
Create documentation and follow up on procedures and guidelines to ensure accountability and reliability
Coordinate with stakeholders and suppliers
Modify project plans according to shifting needs or external events
What you need to make a difference
Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change.
As an operational project manager, not one day is the same. Needs are constantly evolving; weather is changing, and suppliers need to be on top of their game. We need someone who thrives in an everchanging work-environment, can keep a cool head in stressful situations and be both diplomatic and assertive depending on the situation.
Ideally, you have a technical background with offshore/maritime experience, such a marine engineer, naval architect or naval officer, but should you have acquired your skills in alternative ways we still encourage you to apply.
To succeed in this role, you will need several years of experience in project management and a proven track record of handling various stakeholders.
As a person you need to be proactive and outgoing, comfortable speaking to many people on a daily basis and make tough decisions when needed.
