Description
We are currently looking for two Manufacturing Engineers to join our engineering team at Kongsberg Maritime Finland.
In this role you will work closely with production workers, foremen and QHSE department. We are offering an opportunity to work on a variety of tasks including production design of new propulsion units and improving assembly and testing of existing units. Occasional business travel, primarily to our other manufacturing sites, may be required. The role will be based in Rauma, Finland.
Responsibilities:Development of marine propulsion equipment assembly and factory acceptance testingWork in collaboration with design engineering to ensure products are designed for optimized and safe assemblyDefine and acquire new tools and equipmentLead continuous improvement in productionMaintain work instructions and quality documentation
Requirements:Minimum of bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of engineering e.g. production, mechanical design, or automation engineeringWork experience in a workshop environmentInterest in developing digital solutions in productionBasic 3D CAD skillsGood spoken and written Finnish and English skills, the knowledge of other Nordic languages are considered as an advantageWillingness to travel
