Our goal is to bring improved performance, sustainability and safety to heavy asset industries like oil & gas, chemicals, mining, maritime, and utilities/ power generation (renewables). We aim to reduce environmental impacts and catastrophic failures while helping companies realize the power of their data.

We are now looking for an Inside Sale Executive to accelerate our sales effort in the EMEA and US market. This individual will work with our sales team to play a fundamental role in achieving Arundo's ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives in the region, and to continue to build on our existing relationships. You must be comfortable making dozens of calls per day, working with channel partners, generating interest, qualifying prospects and closing sales. Tasks that you will be working with include:
  • Drive lead generation and source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up via email and phone
    • Develop calling scripts for targeted buyer personas
    • Work with marketing to build digital outreach and social media programs as it relates to sales (e.g. email, LinkedIn, Twitter)
  • Understand customer needs and requirements
    • Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest
    • Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your assigned territory
  • Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate account executives for further development and closure
  • Close sales and achieve quarterly quotas
  • Team with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals
  • Perform effective online demos to prospects

Qualifications



Hard Criteria (We will not consider candidates that do not have these minimum qualifications)
  • At least 1+ years proven inside sales experience
  • Experience selling enterprise software or another complex technology/solution
  • Proven track record of generating leads
  • Full business fluency in English
In order to be successful in this position, you will also bring these additional qualifications:
  • Track record of achieving quota
  • Strong phone presence and experience dialling dozens of calls per day
  • Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools
  • Experience working with CRM systems
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong listening and presentation skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent in sales & marketing, engineering, computer science or data science related field (e.g. physics, applied math, etc.)

Desired Additional Experience & Skills

  • Experience in midstream oil and gas, shipping, utilities or process related industries is advantageous
  • Experience in data intensive and/or data science related fields also advantageous
    • Experience with Big Data analytics and visualization beyond classic business intelligence capabilities
    • Layperson's understanding or better of data science as applied to industrial operations
