We have a vacant position in our HSE Department for an HSE & Marine Compliance Lead, located in Stavanger.

The HSE & Marine Compliance Lead shall support the organisation on legislative HSE compliance and ISO certification requirements. Additionally, this position supports the Norway organisation in managing compliance interfaces between client and maritime requirements. The position will report to the HSEQ Director, Norway.

Key responsibilities:
Assist and support the Norway organisation on HSE Compliance issues
Provide expert support to the Norway organisation in interpreting, implementing and complying with current Health, Safety and Environmental legislation
Managing interfaces and providing guidance on maritime legislation, petroleum legislation, NORSOK standards and client requirements
Maintenance of the regional HSE legislative compliance register and guidance documents
Develop and maintain gap analyses documentation and provide effective advice on managing identified gaps
Coordinate and support client vessel assurance
Liaise with the wider organisation, contractors, clients, industry bodies and authorities in compliance issues
Conduct compliance audits, inspections and desktop reviews on relevant topics as per the annual audit schedule
Establish key compliance objectives in line with the wider HSEQ objectives
Qualifications:
Professional qualifications in HSEQ discipline or Mariner with HSEQ compliance experience
Qualified and experienced Lead Auditor
In-depth knowledge and experience of Norway HSE legislation application, including maritime and petroleum legislation, relevant NORSOK Standards and relevant client standards
In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001 requirements
A minimum of 5 years working in the subsea or offshore environment with at least two of those years dedicated to HSE compliance
Experience with vessel vetting and subsea operations is an advantage
Knowledge of Synergi database functionality is an advantage
Fluent in Norwegian and English
