Wärtsilä Gas Solutions is a global business line within the Marine Solutions division. The business has people located in many locations such as Norway, Poland, UK, France, Finland and China. The business unit has end-to-end responsibility from Sales through to commissioning of completed systems.
Wartsila Gas Solutions offers systems and solutions related a number of oil & gas segments. The scope includes marine LNG and LPG cargo systems, fuel gas systems for marine vessels and biogas systems.
Our organization in Asker are searching for an Expert within Finance with spesifc responsibilities listed below :
• Monitoring incoming and outgoing payments to identify and request realization of correct currenct forward contracts.
• Consolidate information from stakeholders in the organization and request new currency forward contracts through Group Treasury.
• Posting of gains and losses from realization and valuation of currency forwarded contracts
• Monitoring, consolidate and report currency exposure on company and project level.
• Ensure correct action is taken for identified currency exposures.
• Maintain and further develop tools and models needed for above tasks.
• Execute period end tasks.
Bachelor’s degree or Master degree in finance, accounting, economics or similar.
Working Experience: 0 - 5 years
Knowledge of the ways of working of currency markets and instruments, and/or knowledge of the international accounting standards for hedge accounting
IT skills: highly proficient use of MS Office and especially Excel. Other relevant tools are SAP, Quantum and IFS.
Language: proficient in spoken and written English and Norwegian
