We are looking for surveyors to join our team in Ålesund!
DNV Maritime Norway has a total of 110 employees, working from 12 offices along the Norwegian coast. The unit is responsible for all our services to the maritime cluster in Norway. The main activities are certification of equipment from local manufacturers, classification and surveys of ships, mobile rigs and floating production units.

Key responsibilities:
Certification of materials and components for ships and offshore units.
Survey of equipment at manufacturers and local clients intended for ships and offshore installations.
Survey of equipment and installation on newbuilding projects and onboard vessels in operation.
Regularly meet and interact with our customers and support with technical assistance to clients.
Following up periodical surveys and assessments at customer sites and providing local support both on site and remotely
The work is carried out within our geographical area, but some travel must be expected.
Position Qualifications:
We are looking for a surveyor with master/bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering in the field of electro or automation with 0 - 8 years experience.
Valid driver’s license
Interest and willingness to build competence within the above-mentioned disciplines
Experience from the offshore industry, maritime industry or shipbuilding is an advantage, but not a requirement
Graduates will also be considered

Desire to take part in solving complex issues (not only pointing at the solution)
Ability to work individually as well as in a collaborative environment

Good communication skills in Norwegian and English
