Job Content, Responsibilities, and Possibilities
Based in our office in Aarhus or Copenhagen, you will be part of our Data & Intelligence team that works within PEAK Wind’s operations management service offering and manages full values chain data management for clients. You will report to the Head of Data & Intelligence, and work in an agile team of mixed seniorities. The team manages a portfolio of more than 2,5 GWs of renewable energy projects worldwide. As an intern, you will be fully integrated into the team, and you will have ownership of your own project, which is about developing a production estimation algorithm, which can be applied in one or more of our onshore and offshore assets.
More specifically, your areas of responsibility will be:
- Responsible for back-end development, which includes preparing our systems for integrating 5 new renewable assets into our systems
- Responsible for driving one of our products forward, with proper guidance from fantastic team colleagues
- Support on ad-hoc data and analytics requests from some of our key clients
- Responsible for managing your own deliverables through a scrum setup
- Become part of our ongoing software development projects for larger clients.
Talented Programmer with a flair for Numbers and an Interest in Building small Applications
We are looking for an ambitious intern, who is currently studying a relevant technical education. You are studying a bachelor’s degree or have recently started a master’s program, among the best in the year, and scoring high on both academic and interpersonal competencies. You have experience with Business Intelligence Tools and an understanding of how to structure your dashboards to communicate a clear message. It is a requirement that you can convert client input into working products. It is also expected that you have strong programming skills, preferably in Python, and knowing libraries like Pandas, NumPy, sklearn/keras is also an advantage. As PEAK Wind is a global company, you must have strong English communication skills.
As a person, you are proactive, adaptive, and apply a ‘can-do’ approach to the completion of tasks. You are structured, results-driven, and like to find smarter and more efficient ways to solve problems. Furthermore, we expect that you can work independently and manage your own tasks and time.
