An exciting opportunity has arisen as Contract Manager at Kongsberg Maritime. You will be part of a team located in two places, Kristinehamn in Sweden and Kokkola in Finland, that works together to sell, design, manufacture and deliver waterjets of world class performance. To coordinate this process, a Contract Manager is needed who can lead projects and take high independent responsibility. To succeed in this position, we are looking for you who has a background, education or will to learn and develop within project management, economy and technology in a global company.

Qualifications and experience
As Contract Manager you will be our representative towards the customer and responsible for all activities involved in the delivery of the contract until end of warranty. All conducted with professionalism, flexibility and in a customer-oriented way. You will have close cooperation and support from your colleagues in the waterjet team and delegate responsibilities along the project’s timeframe. Teamwork is therefore crucial, but you also need to have the ability to lead others when needed.
Since you will adhere to Kongsberg’s contracting processes, it is positive if you have a project management background with good organizing skills. Flexibility is key to be able to handle changes along the way, and the ability to see obstacles as challenges will be vital to thrive as a Contract Manager. An open mind with a focus on what the customer need is important, but also to make sure that budget and scope is within the agreed contract. It is a plus to have experience from financial follow ups or budget responsibility, and ability to speak and write high level of English.
As Contract Manager you will have to understand the waterjet system on a higher level. It is therefore an advantage if you have a technical background or experience from the marine industry. However, focus for this role is to have the right personal skills to coordinate and lead the projects and the ability to quickly learn and adapt to the various needs of our customer.
