In 2018 Equinor entered into the offshore wind development projects Bałtyk II, Bałtyk III and Bałtyk I. In 2020 Equinor opened its official country office in Warsaw to support further development of wind energy on Polish market.

In order to strengthen our local Polish team we are currently looking for a candidate for a position of CHIEF ACCOUNTANT

Our ambition is to become an offshore wind major and enabler for low-carbon solution. Delivering on this ambition means a step up in scale and geographical scope of our renewable and low carbon activities. New Energy Solutions (NES) Business Area shall deliver a safe and profitable renewable business. NES aims to do this with the support of Equinor’ s oil and gas competence, project delivery capabilities and ability to integrate technological solutions. NES consist of the following business clusters: North Sea (NOS), East Coast US (USE), Emerging markets (EMR), Renewables Solutions (RES), Power and Markets (POM), Business Development (BD)Job Description• Responsible for the day to day accounting and the preparation of the monthly and quarterly group reporting as well as the yearly statutory accounts

• Responsible for the Balance Sheet and Income Statement analyses and reconciliation of the accounts

• Ensure all accounting and reporting compliance requirements for the legal entities are met, both internal and external

• Providing accounting details to various stakeholders (controllers, tax dept, external service providers, etc.)

• Prepare financial analysis and work closely with the business in order to provide input on financial and business updates to be presented in board meetings

• Support internal and external audits

• Report to the FC NESQualifications• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration is required

• 10 years + experience in accounting and/or financial audit experience

• Solid accounting knowledge

• Experience in multinational environment

• Knowledge of SAP

• Good command of Polish and English .Personal Qualities• Ability and flexibility to multitask
