We
are looking for a Spare Part Buyer in our Procurement team in Espoo.
Role
description
Evac
Spare Part Buyer leads the coordination of spare parts purchases (MRP) and
related services. She/he ensures the on-time delivery and the lowest total cost.
In
this job you will share proactively information in the Supply Chain and inside
Evac as well as maintain and develop operational relationships with suppliers. You
will work in close contact with the suppliers e.g. by delivering forecasts, monitoring
delivery confirmations and actual deliveries. You are responsible for the inventory
management for designated spare parts and optimizing inventories.
As a
Spare Part Buyer, you will contribute to the development of spare parts
purchasing processes and tools. You will also resolve delivery, inventory and
supplier issues.
We
expect you to have at least a Bachelor level education in the field of
business or engineering, preferably from supply chain. You should have a few
years working experience in purchasing and supply chain management. You have at
least a moderate technical understanding of assigned spare parts and suppliers.
We expect you to have fluent written and spoken English and Finnish skills.
