To join us in maintaining and developing our market leading position in the Decarbonisation arena and Exhaust Gas Treatment, we now have opening as Regional Sales Responsible, at Wärtsilä Moss, Norway (or Vaasa, Finland)
The position will play an instrumental role in developing market for Carbon capture & storage technology and maintaining our market leading position in the exhaust gas treatment solutions.
We see that the transition to sustainable energy systems is set to accelerate at an eye-popping rate. It is no longer a question of if we’ll make the journey, but when we’ll arrive at a decarbonised future.

What will you be doing
As Wärtsilä Regional Sales Responsible your work will focus on ensuring that we identify and pursue relevant opportunities in your international territory, leading the sales activities, and for closing the contracts with our new and existing clients.
For you to succeed in the position, You should have the experience and understanding of marine market and be curious by nature and dedicated to providing exhaust gas solutions for the long term
In this position you will be reporting to Sales Director, Exhaust Treatment.
As a Regional Sales Responsible, your work will focus on these responsibilities:
Identify, develop and manage existing and new customer relationships in the territory
Lead entire sales projects and negotiate contracts technically and commercially for Newbuilds, Retrofits, Upgrades and Agreements in your assigned territory
Deliver Net Sales, Margin and other relevant metrics in the territory
Organize and participate in relevant sales meetings with customers
Collect and communicate market intelligence and competitor information in dedicated territory
Ensure that customer inquiries and orders are responded to in a prompt and satisfactory manner
Responsible for organizing an efficient and good transfer of all sales projects from sales to project department
Manage relationships and co-operation with agents (where applicable)
To be successful in this role, we expect you are/have:
Experience in technical sales, preferably of marine products, with a proven track record in delivering business results
Negotiation skills, proficient at negotiations, both technically and commercially and able to close deals
Cultural knowledge and bridging the gaps between different cultures
Fluent in English
Eager for close collaborate with teams across business functions – as well as with internal stakeholders across the globe
Customer centric mind-set and experience from customer interface related activities
Presentation skills, ability to adapt the messaging to the audience
A team player with a can-do attitude
Relevant B.Sc/M.Sc in technical disciplines
