For our Offshore R&D Nacelle Backend Department within the Technology organization, we are looking for a skilled Technical Designer. As a Technical Designer in the department you will be an important player in delivering design documentation and data in the right quality, assuring that we can source the parts in the most optimal way. You will be part of a dynamic and multicultural R&D environment in a very large and international organization where we work with the latest and most advanced technologies within wind power contributing to future green energy solutions.
How to contribute to our vision
As a Technical Designer in the Offshore R&D Nacelle Backend Department you will have various types of tasks including assisting the design engineers in establishing PDM data in Teamcenter PLM, as well assisting them with activities such as ECM handling, Material creation and Master Data info.
In this role, you will also keep track on the progress for PDM data and support the quality activities for design documentations, including specifications. Furthermore, you will work with simple 3D modelling and 2D drafting using NX Siemens PLM and participate in design reviews.

You probably have an education as Technical Designer, Production Technology or similar.
You are an experienced user in 3D modelling and 2D drafting in a CAD tool, preferably with NX Siemens PLM software.
You have several years of experience working in a technical department, preferable within metal serial fabrication companies.
You should be able to work under pressure and challenging conditions and have a strong desire and ability to drive improvement and change.
You should be a self-starter, be structured and a pro-active problem solver that work well both independently and in teams. Besides, you have a high degree of personal planning and you can meet deadlines.
You possess strong communication skills in English, orally and in writing.
In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
