Summer intern - Maritime HR
Wilhelmsen Ship Management is one of the largest ship managers in the world. We operate various vessels for Customers around the globe. Our people are the reason for our success. For our Maritime HR team at Lysaker, we are now looking for Summer Interns starting June 2022.
We are looking for students graduating in 2022 or 2023 within HR, Shipping/Marine Management or Marine Technology.
The internship is full-time, and you must be able to work minimum 8 weeks between June and August. For the right candidate, an extended internship through a university program or job opportunity is possible within Maritime HR or technical vessel operations.
What you will be doing
Coordination of travel arrangements
Review and approval of travel expenses
Update of personal data and certificates in the personnel database
Assist Managers and Coordinators on admin tasks related to employment and coordination of seagoing personnel
Requirements
Pursuing a bachelors or master’s degree, graduating 2022/2023
Fluent in Norwegian and English with excellent communication skills, both written and oral
Structured, pro-active, and independent
Coordinated, neat, and detail-oriented
Curious, eager to learn, and an open attitude
