Key Responsibilities

The maintenance and inspection team are part of the Operation team in Tyra Redevelopment Project. Our overall role is to prepare for daily operation of the Tyra facilities once handed over from engineering and commissioning.

As a Student Assistant in our team, you will gain insight on how to support asset management and prepare to operation of a newly built gas installation in the Oil & Gas industry. You will be given the opportunity to put your theoretical knowledge into play and to gain a holistic in-sight in the operation of a major capital project. You will be involved in everyday tasks as well as managing specific minor projects, fulfilling a dynamic and diverse workday. Potentially, you will be given the opportunity to gain further insight to our business as an intern or in connection with your Bachelor or Master Thesis.

Overall, with the varying day-to-day tasks and approximately 15-20 hours per week, you are responsible of managing and ensure delivery of your tasks. You will be given some areas of responsibility which, to a certain extent, will depend on your experience, educational background and personal interests and ambitions. There will be routine tasks, and opportunities to be involved in different tasks across the team yet all will demand a high level of independence and self-going.
Your weekly tasks may involve:

Supportive task for the Integrity Management Program development – which ensure continuous integrity management of the offshore facilities pressure systems and structures.

Assist with establishing kit box and spare management

Supporting the Condition and Performance based management system development and setup to support the predictive maintenance and increased availability.

Assist the Maintenance Data Build with development – including planned maintenance routines and specific strategy tasks

Support and manage various surveys and reviews, executed by external companies.

Who we are looking for

Ensuring a safe and healthy workplace during operation of an oil and gas field is crucial and it is expected that the right candidate adhere and recognize themselves in this mindset. You are expected to learn and develop further within this area.

You are currently enrolled at a university or similar and we expect your study to have some insights on mechanical, electrical or operational maintenance. The position calls for a structured approach to own planning and workload prioritization. Additionally, it requires high focus to details and interest in new technology.

Moreover, it is crucial to have a pragmatic attitude towards people and tasks. Excellent interpersonal and communicative skills are essential. We are looking a person who feel motivated by building relationships and work constructively with others to achieve business goals.

Your background

Resident in Denmark, near Esbjerg

Studying to become a mechanical/electrical Engineer, Marine Engineer or similar

Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs: Word, Outlook, Power Point and Excel

General understanding of work processes and projects

Being familiar with Asset Management is an advantage

Open-minded and international mindset

Proficiency in oral and written English
