ROCKWOOL Technical Insulation is currently looking for a Student Assistant within our Business Finance organization to be based in our HQ in Hedehusene, Denmark. Joining ROCKWOOL Technical Insulation’s Finance team in Hedehusene, Denmark, you will be part of our international Finance team of dedicated professionals acting as Business Finance Partners to our Global Sales Regions and supporting the Management Team working from Denmark and the Netherlands.
This is the role
You can expect to work 15-20 hours per week. Whilst we will remain flexible to accommodate the working hours to your studies, we will also expect you to be able to support during times with stringent company deadlines.
In this role you will primarily be supporting our Finance Director and Business Controllers, but you could also be tasked with analysis or smaller projects anchored in other functions, such as our Market Intelligence or Commercial Excellence functions.
The area of responsibility includes (examples):
Supporting Financial & Business Analysis across countries/regions/segments
Supporting the process around developing, maintaining and refreshing business analysis tools
Preparing presentation material to support Management
Design and prepare excel-models and templates
You will contribute to the continuing development of our global Finance organization, and will get the opportunity to have an impact in a dynamic department. You can anticipate a good deal of responsibility in this position.
We will be able to offer you on the job training to help support your studies with relevant experience whilst giving you the independence to work autonomously.
Professional qualifications
You have just started your Master’s studies, or have recently completed your first year. Your studies will have a financial focus (e.g. cand. merc. or similar).
Additionally, we make extensive use of IT systems, so it is expected that you have a natural interest in working with Microsoft Offices programs such as Excel and PowerPoint, and are able to adapt to new IT systems with ease.
Whilst Danish would be an advantage, it is not required. Proficient skills in English is required.
Finally, previous experience working in a Financial organization, either through previous work experience or volunteer work will be an advantage.

Strong skills and experience in working with Excel, from structuring datasets to clearly illustrating the outcome of your data analysis with graphs, tables, comments, assumptions etc.
