Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions is a business area within the Sandvik Group and a global leading supplier of equipment and tools, parts, service and technical solutions for the mining and construction industries. Application areas include rock drilling, rock cutting, loading, and hauling, tunneling, and quarrying.

The Parts & Services Division has a unique opportunity for a Service Agreements Support Specialist to facilitate, monitor and approve the set up and execution of new service agreements with processes and standards to reach Service Excellence (including EHS) in SMR Service Agreements worldwide in support of the Parts and Service Division strategy.

The role

In this role, you will plan and monitor the service agreement contract life cycle from inception to implementation and ensure that service agreement standards are aligned across Sales Areas. You support Sales Areas to deliver our customer expected levels of service and KPIs for service agreements with safety, quality and efficiency including delivery against expected Division profitability levels. You identify, develop, implement, and monitor service standards (SOP) to generate efficiency in service execution and according to the Service strategy. You develop and execute OpEx (operational service excellence), administration, systems, and data audits to drive and support the execution of action plans in Sales Areas.

You interact closely with key stakeholders, start initiatives, and take action to support Sales Areas to deliver on financial and operational KPIs for service/maintenance Agreements. You establish contract governance and follow contract business case deviations, escalating issues where needed. You drive operational service excellence globally within Service/Maintenance Agreements to ensure the lowest total cost of ownership for our customers.

In this position, you report to the Assets Lifecycle Support Manager, Service Operations and international travel is a natural part of your job. The position will be in Tampere or Turku in Finland, or Amsterdam in the Netherlands.

Are you who we are looking for?

We are looking for someone with a University degree in a Business / Technical / Engineering discipline (Master’s of Bachelor’s degree) or equivalent industry experience. You have a strong commercial background with at least 6 - 8 years’ experience leading or managing operational contracts. You have hands on experience with equipment maintenance and aftermarket service and you come from a heavy equipment, mining, maritime or oil and gas background. As we operate in an international setting, you need to be fluent in English, both verbally and in writing.
