We are now looking for a Senior UX Designer to join us in Tampere.
You will be a member of our team developing digital software products for our customers and making our products user-friendly and well-designed.
You appreciate working in a cross-functional setup and engaging with various internal and external stakeholders, ranging from developers and data scientists to other designers and business owners.
You will be the user advocate in the software projects. You are used to design in co-creation and to maintain existing styles during joint sessions. We want you to bring your experience, opinions and comprehensive user experience know-how to the table and we would like you to share that with our team.
We hope you have strong visual design and illustration skills. While working at Cargotec you might design for anything from 3 inch to 300 inch screens. We use Figma and Google Workspace and you will participate in user tests. You might be working on multiple projects at the same time. We appreciate that you can easily create an illustration, photorealistic images or an icon from a photo, technical drawing or an oral description.

Our ideal candidate has:
- Several years of professional experience in user experience design
- Strong visual design skills
- Strong illustration skills
- Intermediate interaction design skills
- Basic user testing skills developed
- Keen eye on detail and precision
- Experience in matching WCAG 2.1 compliance requirements and ISO
- A mindset of a user advocate within the projects
- Sufficient experience in running various kinds of design workshops
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written)

- You can run an evidence based design discussion
- A start-up mindset and 60 seconds elevator pitches
- Great use case storytellers
