You will become part of the Offshore Product Market Strategy team and act as the link between the product development team and the commercial team to ensure that we have the best possible solutions for the fast growing offshore market.
It is an essential part of the role, to be able to understand the offshore market and the solutions for fixed bottom and floating we need to provide in order to respond to the market. Therefore, you will play a core part of ensuring commercial growth in short, mid and long-term horizons across the offshore market. This will be through definition of sharp market roadmaps, defining and execution of key initiatives to secure marketability as well as handling the full strategic product market lifecycle.
You will be part of a small, highly experienced team.
Assess offshore market volume and market requirements with the different regions and corporate offshore sales for the mid and long term and collect, log and update country /market specific requirements
Based on collected customer requirements, provide market segmentation
Prepare Market Roadmaps; i.e. outline market requirements and identify gaps and opportunities on both short, medium and long term
Support hosting Offshore Market Ownership Team meetings and solicit and consolidate Business Requirement Documents incl. boundary conditions
Consolidate product competitor intelligence information and present overview of technology innovative landscape, and work closely with the global intelligence function
Align and work closely with the offshore strategy team, and with other related stakeholders
Support the product development team in finding the best product response
Solid experience from the wind or renewables industry in a Product Management or similar strategic role
B.Sc., M.Sc. or an MBA - either in Engineering combined with a commercial education or relevant commercial experience - or in Business/Economics combined with a technical education or relevant technical experience
Previous experience of delivering solid results and working with a wide range of stakeholders in an international, complex organization
You are a team-oriented person and a skilled networker who appreciate working with many stakeholders in a global organization
You are self-confident, not afraid of conflicts and willing to work effectively to do "what it takes"
