Job Description Summary
Experienced business development / commercial operations manager to work with the commercial rationale for our new Offshore footprint, products and new business models in close co-operation with management and stakeholders.
Roles and Responsibilities
Develop long term business plans and monitor delivery risks. Reporting to the Director, Offshore Commercial Operations, and in close co-operation with our top management team, you will get responsibility to drive a wide range of business development and risk management activities. You will take lead in Offshore projects developing the commercial rationale of new footprint, new technologies and new business models. You will also coordinate the Offshore risk management activities by reporting on existing risks and respective mitigation actions and initiating tracking of new risks.
Take lead in Business Cases. You will drive business cases, which you will present to the highest level in the company for approval. This process includes taking the lead, developing the commercial rationale of new and more effective footprint and business models, ensuring internal alignment while ensuring that the proposals meet requirements for corporate profitability. Finally, you will lead financial engineering for sales to support negotiations of contracts.
Close contact with CEO, management team, business leaders and customers. The Offshore Business Development function is created to ensure stakeholder alignment while developing new business and tracking risks. You will interact with both group management, functional and business leaders across the whole organization worldwide in your role of supporting negotiation and monitoring risks.
Experienced business development / commercial operation manager, with 5-7 years experience in the industry or consulting roles.
Expertise in both finance and operations, and preferably from the wind business.
Master’s degree in engineering or finance
Full financial understanding and skills are mandatory
Excellent analytical skills and able to deal with high complexity in a dynamic organization
Strong project management skills
Willingness to take responsibility and lead initiatives to deliver solutions
Strong communicator, able to influence and drive consensus on different management levels
Capable of building productive relations with others.
Fluent in English.
Knowledge on operations and capacity planning
