Full timeDenmarkJob Languages:EnglishWe are looking for a Sr Data Engineer to work within the Business Area (BA) Wind, in Offshore Engineering, System & Maintenance Engineering.The Engineering department is the technical know-how center and home of technical competences within BA Wind, setting the standards and guidelines as well as being embedded within our projects to drive technical excellence through the whole project lifecycle.Working within the System & Maintenance Engineering department of Engineering, the Data Engineer is responsible for the management and provision of data, as well as the standardization of the data and documentation for the full (offshore) wind farm asset life cycle. The Integrity – and Data Engineering team of is the driver for digitalization in Offshore Engineering.Your responsibilities as Sr Data EngineerDesign and implement data architectureBuild and maintain complex data pipelinesDesign and implement functional and performance improvements on the data platformEvaluate new technology and techniques in order to improve systems designInitiate and manage set of complex topics with relevant stakeholders (including Operation & Maintenance, Data Analytics, SCADA and other Engineering disciplines, Digitalization, IT, Document Management and other functions) and ensure the alignment of the technical areaGuide on technical matters across portfolioLead data integrity and data governance and related standardization initiativesMentor colleagues to develop competence in the team and share knowledge with stakeholdersWhat we are looking forYou have a master’s degree in engineering and/or IT with at least 5 years of relevant working experience, preferably from working a similar position in the energy sector or a technical industry. A proven track record within data engineering is desirable including experience with asset related data.You have extensive experience with architecture and handling big data sets. You have experience in SQL and noSQL databases. Further, you have experience with MS Azure and Python. Experience with Kafka, Hive, ERP systems (e.g. SAP) is considered advantageous.You are a highly motivated and communicative professional, who is used to working in virtual teams. You are proven skilled in dealing with strategic, highly complex issues, problems and challenges. You have the ability to develop detailed solutions, while always maintaining a higher-level perspective. Health and safety is of your highest priority. Your English skills are strong, both verbally and written.You take responsibility, provide transparency and display a collaborative mindset.
