Description

NOV Subsea Products, is part of NOV Subsea Production systems. We develop, design and deliver subsea products for the oil and gas industry world wide. These are either stand alone projects in their own right, or part deliveries together with the other NOV Business Units.
Working within the Sales Department as Sales Manager for the Subsea Products Business Unit, you shall have the ability to develop and implement both commercial and technical strategies to accelerate sales growth. Collaborate with the technical specialists, project teams and other parties in NOV with a common goal of building and maintaining beneficial partnerships with key stakeholders of the Client.
In the supervision and preparation of high-quality bids compliant with Client requirements, you will draw on multiple functions from across the organization, and will work collaboratively with Supply Chain, Legal, Manufacture, Projects, Engineering, Management, and Sales to present on time a tailored bid which meets the technical, operational, and commercial needs and specifications of the selected Client(s).
Crucial to this role is the ability to work independently with a high degree of authority and structure, and at the same time understand how to motivate others to contribute with their part in due time. In this role, employees will develop their interpersonal skills as well as expand their knowledge and experience through a variety of tasks.
As a Manager you shall plan, direct, and coordinate tender and business development activities to ensure that goals or objectives are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters. You will participate in the overall sales efforts of NOV globally, and be part of cross business unit activities, such as coordination meetings, trade shows, Client meetings etc.
Education and Experience:

Degree within an Engineering/Business Engineering discipline or equivalent
10+ years of sales/commercial management experience
An in-depth working knowledge of complex project quoting for fabrication and assembly
Able to read, analyses and interpret complex tendering documentation
Understanding and interpretation of engineering drawings
Economical understanding
Analytical
Understanding of offshore oil & gas industry components and their application
Understanding of client specifications and contract review
Excellent English skills, both spoken and written
