Customer facing staff responsible for winning business Impacts approaches, projects and programs in the functional area or affected business organization and ways of working. Impacts quality, efficiency and effectiveness of own team. Guided by commercial practices and policies that may be shaped by the role. Has significant control/influence over commercial priorities. There is moderate autonomy within the role to enter into/execute Commercial arrangements. High levels of Commercial judgement are required to achieve outcomes required.

Job Description

Role Summary/Purpose

Part of the O&G segment , the Sales Manager Offshore Electrifciation is responsible for the Global sales and the development of an innovative growth strategy aimed to address and expand the offshore market, underpinned by the decarbonization mega trend . Managing complex issues within functional area of expertise and working across the organization, he is accountable for executing the business strategy and delivering on operating plan commitments.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Deliver the identified KPIs: OP, CM, convertibility, cash
  • Support local teams with technical and commercial skills
  • Define deal strategies and pricing policies
  • Build strong and long term relationship with Customers, support assigned initiatives (session T, VOCs) and work to identify in advance the future customer needs, positioning the right technical solution in DTI phase
  • Implement sustainable growth plan:
    • Increase market share with key Customer in Offshore market engaging with all channels
    • Develop business identifying new customers
  • Identify opportunities and drive commercial strategies in relation with:
    • Application engineering
    • Global Sales organization
  • Proactively interact with Product Platforms to define and prioritize product needs
  • Support Marketing in SAS definition, Long Term Strategy and long term planning
  • Own deep knowledge of products and application, provide market benchmark, support the win/loss analysis

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
  • At least 10 additional years of experience in Sales, Marketing, Business Development functions
  • Knowledge of products, services and markets related to Energy offshore industry
  • Proven experience and success in sales
  • Ability to energize, develop and build rapport in matrix organization
  • Direct and/ or indirect leadership experience
  • Strong process, analytical and communication skills
  • Customer focused mind-set with proven ability to understand and respond quickly and effectively to internal and external customer needs
  • High ethics and integrity

Desired Characteristics

  • North Europe language other than English and French(fluent)
  • Consolidated experience in offshore O&G environment
