Then you may be our new Sales Account Manager for Marine & Protective Coatings in Norway/Nordics!
You will be part of a wonderful and committed team of salespeople who are scattered throughout the country.
What you will do?
In the role as Sales Account Manager you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our customers while you process new ones. You will have Norway as your main area, but other Nordic countries will also be included in your field, which gives you the freedom to be independent and plan your work. Great focus in the role will be on active new customer processing. The customers are in a wide range of areas, such as shipping companies, marine yards, manufacturer of marine and offshore equipment, oil companies, general manufacturers of industrial equipment and more. Your main tasks are:
• Regularly visit existing and potential customers
• Nurture customer relationships and thereby actively strengthen our position in the market
• Provide support and service to our customers and resellers
• Document and update our sales support system
• Maintain a professional relationship with our customers and work actively with our sales strategies
• Participate actively in our business development and implement this with our customers
This is a permanent employment starting immediately. Location is flexible as you will be home based. You will report to Area Sales Manager Nordics and Baltics.
Who you are?
To succeed as Sales Account Manager, you need to understand industrial paint and possesses a solid interest in our industry. Understanding of painting and/or application techniques is important as you will meet experienced customers in the field. However most important are your personal qualities.
As a person you are extremely independent, have self-discipline and thrive on your own responsibility. You are structured in your way of working and understand the importance of planning your activities, as well as reporting the outcome of them. Goal oriented, relationship building and customer focused are words that describes you. You can deliver results by motivating and developing your customers through a professional, serious and honest attitude. You are good at building long term relationships and have the ability to communicate with many different types of people and customers.
We assume that you have good knowledge of Norwegian, both orally and in writing, as well as basic knowledge of English, both orally and in writing. It is required that you have good data/IT experience as we use CRM system and MS Office.
