Do you want to be part of an expert analysis group?
We are looking for an Engineer to join our team, Riser Technology, in delivering services towards the Energy market. Our product specialisation is within risers, well systems, umbilicals and cables exposed to hydrodynamic loading. These products are required in several market segments like Oil and Gas, Offshore Wind, Floating Solar Power and Maritime services. You will therefore work in a dynamic environment with different projects and clients.
In DNV you will work across other units and be involved in cross-disciplinary projects together with material experts, electrical engineers, structural integrity experts and many more.
Responsibilities:
The work will typically include environmental modelling and global dynamic analysis (time/frequency analysis) of slender structures, local finite element analysis (FEA), or structural reliability analysis (SRA) to advise on products, systems, and operations. We also use our expertise, knowledge, and numerical tools to help our clients qualify new technology and give assessments on current service conditions.
Position Qualifications:

We are looking for you who have:
Relevant professional experience, from around 4 to 10 yearsMaster’s Degree in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or other relevant degreesExperience with analytical tools is preferred (e.g., Riflex, Orcaflex, Abaqus, Ansys etc.)
