Key responsibilities
As Regulatory Affairs Officer you will be responsible for:
• Building and maintaining the internal and external professional networks needed to ensure timely awareness of regulatory developments, clarification of options available and delivery of results consistent with Maersk values;
• Monitoring technical/ regulatory developments of significance for Maersk, with special attention to decarbonisation efforts both on land and sea;
• Internal coordination efforts and preparation of Maersk official hearing answers;
• Support and coordinate regulatory aspects linked to investor and financial aspects of decarbonisation;
• Support for outreach at EU level on renewable energy and other activities;
• Support for participation in external fora
• Coordination with relevant trade associations.

We are looking for
You have knowledge of the political decision-making processes both at international and regional level. Knowledge of logistics/transport/energy industry and legislation is a plus.
You have a proven track record and 2-3 years relevant experience in handling regulatory issues from working for example in a consultancy, authority, a shipping, energy or logistics company.
You are a team player and have excellent skills in communication and cross-cultural collaboration in pursuit of desired results on the regulatory agenda, always with due respect for Maersk values and long-term objectives.
You are an independent and creative thinker ready to take responsibility while putting team results and collaborative efforts first.
