Public Affairs Manager

We are now looking for a Public Affairs Manager to our office in Stockholm

The Public Affairs Manager is responsible for the overall relations with political stakeholders and institutions in the energy realm in Sweden. You will be part of our communications team and report to the Vice President of Communications.

Your main responsibilities will be to

Raise the awareness of the importance of gas in reducing emissions to reach environmental targets

Engage with Government officials, Members of Parliament, political advisers, and other key political stakeholders

Create and communicate the vision of working towards a carbon neutral environment

Create a strong network with relevant authorities

Establish regular contacts with politicians, political advisers, civil servants, non-departmental public bodies, and regulators to keep them informed about the organization’s work and policy concerns

Requirements

You are the Public Affairs Manager we are looking for if you have extensive experience of working collaboratively across business functions and with a variety of stakeholders at all levels. Great networking skills are integral to succeeding in the role. You possess the ability to confidently approach a diverse range of decision-makers and retain contacts. You have a deep understanding of the governmental system and political network in Sweden. We believe you have several years of public affairs experience with excellent political judgment. This role requires fluent written and spoken English and Swedish. Our internal company language is English.
