Our Renewables division is looking for a Project Procurement Specialist for a newly established position!As a Project Procurement Specialist, you will take a proactive role in the tender process, identifying and ensuring the sourcing of prices and terms to be included in bids, that the right suppliers are selected and that prices and terms are commercially favourable and aligned with the sales budget and client contract form. During project tendering and execution, you take ownership of final negotiations and agreements with suppliers, taking lead on project procurement planning and coordination with the Strategic Sourcing and Purchasing teams. Supplier relationship management, contract management, supplier performance management and supplier analysis are key factors to succeed in this role. You will be based in either Ballerup or Esbjerg.Your responsibilities:Support the tender team in sourcing offers from suppliers including negotiating terms and conditions to ensure back-to-back agreements to reduce risk and add value to the projectsSupport Tender Manager and Sales with responses to prequalification questionnaires, requests for quotations (RFQs), bids, proposals and contract negotiationsPrepare RFQs for project purchase agreements and long-term frame agreementsIn collaboration with Project Manager, identify, assess and manage contract risks with a focus on commercial risksCoordinate with Cost Control and Finance to ensure correct cost accounting, invoicing and milestone paymentsPrepare management reports on the status of contractsInterface and coordinate with internal and external project team members and document communication between company, subcontractors, suppliers and clientsManage, oversee and monitor existing project contractsAssist Legal and Procurement in developing contracting standards, contract templates and guidelines for managing both upstream and downstream contractsIn collaboration with Legal, review all requirements and provisions in supply chain contracts, including terms and conditions, to ensure compliance with all laws and regulations and with company policies and proceduresEnsure that contracts are carried out in accordance with company guidelines and industry best practice and in line with corporate goals and objectivesCriteria for success:Compliance with client and key stakeholder requirementsBusiness and project goals to be reached by successful tendering and contract acquisitionAlways in control of contract change managementProactive participation in project activitiesFollow contract document management protocols within project systems and toolsSelf-motivated with the ability to plan own work assignmentsForwarding deliverables on timeWhat makes you the ideal candidate for this position?Professional competenciesBachelor’s degree in Business or Supply Chain Management as minimum requirementBroad knowledge and experience of contracts & procurement including competitive tendering, contract preparation, complex negotiations and contract managementSpecific knowledge and experience of FIDIC standard contracts for energy EPC project environmentsExperience of contract change management and handling of claimsWillingness to speak up and highlight potential risks and areas for improvementStakeholder managementFluent in English and Danish; fluency in other European Language is a plusPersonal competencies:You are a team playerYou have a structured and flexible approachYou are empathic and confidentInterested?Please submit your application as soon as possible via the “apply” button below.
