We are looking for a project manager to join our team of professionals and be a part of the MacGregor’s GSD family. You will be managing our projects portfolio covering the offshore products according to the high standards we drive for and hope you with your capabilities will even bring it to a new level. Your responsibilities will mainly be to manage and drive the different projects from a to z and sometimes be involved in the sales and tendering process as well.
Oversee and manage the service project activities in accordance with Operating Principal Manual (OPM), Integrated Management System (IMS) and project execution guideline.
Strive to keep GM% within set range and healthy cash flow through the projects. Manage and lead allocated project team.
Manage external parties as applicable and be single point of contact.
Monitor project progress KPI’s, make adjustments as required to ensure successful completion. Manage changes to project scope, schedule and cost.
Prepare regular progress- and financial reports and escalate to management according to reporting structure.
Ensure customer meets the obligations as set out in the contract payment terms and conditions in conjunction with Finance/Legal dept. Participate and/or coordinate sales/tendering work when needed.
Host customers visiting our premises.
Occasional visits to customers, suppliers or other external parties

The position is preferential to be located in Bergen or Kristiansand but it can also be in other locations.
The position reports to Manager Projects and the position will be a part of Offshore Mooring and Loading and Load Handling solutions project team in GSD.
What you’ll need to succeed:
Education: Higher education on Bachelor or Master level, preferably in engineering.
Alternatively comparable or equal degrees or equivalent experience.
Experience: Min 5 years of relevant business / product experience.
Experience in heavy equipment handling.
Ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong problem solving skills.
High attention to detail and ability to work within deadlines.
Competences : Delivering results and meeting customer expectations.
Strong business and market mind-set.
Commercial and financial skills.
Planning and organizing.
Adapting and responding to change.
Open and positive attitude.
Fluent in English
Prior experience in a similar role incl. solid exposure to customer requirements.

Suitable technical knowledge of our products.
Excellent social skills.
