MAKING THE WORLD’S BEST FLEXIBLE PIPES IS A TEAM EFFORT. CAN YOU COORDINATE THEM?
We are looking for a project coordinator to see our projects come to life. Is that you?
At National Oilwell Varco Denmark I/S (Flexibles), we design, manufacture and sell the world’s most advanced flexible pipe solutions for the global offshore oil and gas industry. Each project is tailor-made and is the result of a concerted effort of hundreds of people from all departments of the company: Purchasers get the materials, engineers carry out painstaking design and calculation work for the pipes to meet specifics, planners plan, sellers sell, and at the center of it all is the projects department.
Managing our projects requires solid management and coordination, and that is why we are looking for a skilled project coordinator to be part of the backbone of a given project.
As a project coordinator, your primary tasks are focused on:
Reporting – you set up meetings with other departments and you create minutes and action plans. You then help the project manager make sure all stakeholders are kept up to date with the project.
Monitor financial impact – prepare and monitor invoices and variation orders.
Communication – interface with the rest of the organization and – along with the project manager – be the project’s “face to the rest of the company.
With the high level of coordination and documentation connected with the job, it is imperative that you are structured, proactive and quality-conscious. Equally important, you are also accommodating, friendly and service-minded, as you often have information that can help a project move along. Thus, it is important that you in word, deed and attitude can help the project and its participants thrive.
You will learn the specifics of working in the oil and gas industry on the job, but we expect you to:
Have experience with projects where HSE and Quality is a top priority
Be methodical and careful in your work
Have a forceful, but friendly personality
Have strong PC skills
