The role of a project controller is to be a sparring partner for both the project team and management. The project controller will be a key player in improving controlling tools for both internal and external reporting of cost. The goal is to increase the standardisation of cost reporting.
Who are you?
You hold a master degree in controlling or finance and are a super user in MS Excel. You have 3-5 years of experience with controlling, preferably from a project business.

Tasks:
The job of the Project Controller is to manage and control all financial transactions across the different disciplines within the allocated department(s) and during projects, to have the financial overview of the project and be able to communicate this to both project management and management. This applies to all phases of the project. The project assignments includes, but are not limited to:
Controlling/review of tendering material prepared by the Bid team and project managers
Review of contract/PO from Client, and understand the aspects affecting the projects economics
Controlling of actuals, budgets/forecast and variations
Control and verify the project costs through all phases of a project, in close cooperation with project manager, construction manager and discipline leads
Daily to weekly reporting of finances to project manager, e.g. cash flow, hours spent, procurement, or used cost compared to budget.
