As our new Buyer you will be part of our purchasing department with great colleagues working globally on the projects in our Oil & Gas division.
You will be a key player in terms of ensuring our projects adhere to the schedules and deadlines, because you will handle the procurement process for many different exciting projects in the offshore energy industry.Your tasks & responsibilities
You will act as general procurement support to our Oil & Gas area, sourcing and pricing support for tenders and procurement planning, purchasing and expediting for projects.
Your tasks will include but are not limited to:
Performing Requisition-to-Purchase Orders
Handling the sourcing process for goods and services for projects and support functions
Updating systems with supplier information, orders and invoicing
Communicating with internal and external stakeholders in relation to the different aspects of procurement
Expediting orders to ensure on-time deliveries
Assisting international offices with purchasing tasks
Your profile & qualifications
As a person you are structured and confident in your work. You enjoy working in an environment where any given day is never the same. For this position it is also necessary to be flexible in your approach to your workday as you may have many different tasks each day, so a good sense of time management is something you possess.
To succeed in this position, we expect that you have the following qualifications:
Experience with and knowledge within procurement and sourcing of goods and services
Experience with or knowledge of Expediting and Logistics
Beneficial: Experience with procurement/purchasing for the offshore industry
Knowledge of supplier and contract negotiation
Fluency in English, written and verbal
