In 2021 Vanora’s wholly owned subsidiary VA Finance launched its financial shipping services following the approval from the Norwegian Financial Authority to process payments.
Vanora has raised substantial funding and is backed by leading venture capital Norselab and other solid venture capital players. Vanora is now scaling up the organisation to expand to new market segments and geographic markets.
Requirements
Vanora is looking for an experienced Product Manager to join our team of high-performing professionals. You have in-depth knowledge and experience in product management within B2B, preferably with a good understanding and interest in increasing efficiency and sustainability for procurement in maritime industries and/or shipping.
As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for leading and owning the entire development cycle of our digital products and be a key member of the company’s management team. This involves responsibility within business strategy, product management, product design, personal management and functionality, as well as contributing to client and partnership discussions and business development.
The role is responsible for operational execution and strategic development of the products and technical platform in the company. The role reports to the CEO.

Areas of responsibility
Ownership and responsibility of the strategic and operational management of the company’s products
Decision making and prioritization related to the product roadmap, in close collaboration with the CEO, in alignment with the company’s strategy and goals
Responsible for further developing the company’s product vision, strategy and roadmap that is professionally based and valid over a longer time horizon
Leadership and management of the product organization, currently consisting of a highly skilled and dedicated development team located in Ukraine, and develop the organization according to the resource requirements
Further develop a structured product development process and ensure efficient implementation, with rapid milestones, validation and releases, drive teams to reach them and follow up on progress
Collaborate with and navigate opportunities within product-related partnerships
Responsible for following up management and operation of launched products
Qualifications
Higher education - Master’s degree or equal, in relevant area of expertise
Very good competence in digital development and product development in B2B
Experience in hypothesis testing, MVP development and service design
Experience from management of development projects and management of highly competent teams
Experience from user-driven product development, with in-depth technical understanding
Curiosity and interest in maritime procurement is desirable
Good knowledge in English. Norwegian is a plus.
