We are now looking for a Procurement & Contract Manager who will strengthen our clients Supply Chain department team. The start of the assignment is as soon as possible and will last six months with an opportunity for further extension. This is a consulting assignment through Wise Professionals a full-time position and we prefer that you are located in Gothenburg.The position will report to Head of Supply Chain. The position gives the right candidate high level of responsibility and authority in execution of the role. As an expert within your field, you will be responsible for implementing important strategies to secure world class supply chain and quality processes.Main responsibilitiesWork in projects being responsible for the procurement- and sourcing activities, negotiations and strategically selecting suppliers. Responsible for contracts within one or more product segment(s).Develop and maintain deep relationships with international long-term key suppliers. Control and follow up quality at the suppliers manufacturing sites during production through our quality engineers.Cooperate closely with project managers, engineers, and other internal disciplines. Develop various pricing and negotiation methods and confidentiality agreements, consulting agreements, master services agreements, trial agreements, statements of work, change orders, task orders, and data privacy and information security agreements.Follow and implement department processes to maintain transparency to the review/negotiation process.Background and skillsExtensive experience drafting, reviewing, analyse and negotiating a wide range of agreements including international EPC contracts using various contract formats.Good negotiation skills and understanding of the negotiation process, particularly as it relates to subcontract/vendor management. University degree in supply chain, engineering, business administration, or equivalent related fieldKnowledge of general corporate business practices, commercial contracting regulations and principles, and subcontracting/vendor management practices.Experience of Hydraulics, composite, slew bearing and moving steel parts. Familiarity with FAT, SIT tests & agreements/site contracts in support of mechanical and processes studies considered a plus. Ability to meet business-driven deadlines and commitments while maintaining a high level of quality and professionalism. Proven track record demonstrating ability to work collaboratively with geographically dispersed teams.Experience of working with Chinese companies and principles is an advantage. 3-5 years Maritime or Shipping industry business experience is an advantage.
