Assignment Description
Due to incoming projects in our organization in Asker we are searching Process Control Engineers in
our product line Cargo Handling Systems, within Operations.
Main tasks and responsibilities:Participation in project execution and studies for gas plants on LNG and LPG carriers, offshore (FPSO)Development of system design for control systemsPreparation of documentation (FDS, C&E, signal list, wiring diagrams)Evaluation of bids, review of vendor documentation and supplier follow-upEnsure information flow with other disciplinesTechnical clarifications concerning customer, suppliers, class and yardTake part in design reviews, HAZOP sessions and milestone reviewsTechnical support for commissioning and start-up activities (some travelling will be expected)
Qualifications RequiredMinimum of Bachelor of Science in Automation / Electrical & Instrumentation / Cybernetics Engineer or other relevant degree.Experience from maritime (ship/FPSO), Oil & GasGood knowledge of automation design according to relevant standards and class rulesExcellent experience with functional design and cabinet design specificationKnowledge of software architecture and programming experienceExperience from testing and commissioning is preferredExperience in use of EPLAN, AutoCad Electrical, IFS Plant design and SAP is preferred.Excellent English language skills, both verbally and writtenMinimum 5 years of experience required
