Allweiler AS – a subsidiary of CIRCOR – delivers pumps and pump systems to the maritime business in Norway and internationally. We cover sale and deliveries to shipyards and ship owners worldwide, both for new buildings and Aftermarket.
CIRCOR is searching for an Operations Manager (m/f/d) to join its team in at our site in Hvalstad.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Customer satisfaction is our highest priority. In strengthening our performance we will fill the position of an Operations Manager in Norway.
The Operations manager is responsible for providing leadership for the operational side of the business activities in Oslo and for leading the project management, assembly workshop, warehouse and procurement team.
YOUR CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Daily management of the departments which consists of Workshop, Project Management Team, Purchase Department and LogisticsDaily work on own projects. Everything that happens after order entry until the project is invoiced is your responsibilityEHS responsible for the entire siteParticipate in local Leadership TeamForecasting and ReportingContinuous improvement of existing processes (shop floor and admin)Whatever task, that is necessary for us to reach our goals. Anything from working in the shop floor, to leadership tasks
Job RequirementsYOUR PROFILE:
Knowledge Skills & Abilities
Fluent Norwegian and English language skills. German language skills will be a big plusGoal-oriented with solid ability to executeAble to cooperate just as good with the Workshop as with the Senior ManagementGood communication skillsLeadership experienceHands-on leadership approachFlexibleComfortable with IT tools as Excel, SAP etc.
Education & Experience
Higher education, preferably within Economics, Project Management, Human Resources/Management or similarMinimum of 5 years of experience in the Operations environmentKnowledge in technical equipment’s
