Who We Are Looking For

The Onshore Senior Materials Coordinator supports operations and projects on the Kizomba platforms by facilitating the ordering of drilling materials and equipment, managing inventory and controlling stock, arranging shipping and back loading in line with KCADs operational and SCM policies.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the warehouse areas and staff in the Kwanda Base, Soyo in order to ensure operations are carried out in a manner that meets KCAD’s health and safety procedures.Supervise direct reports to successfully manage local purchases shipped from the Sonils base in Luanda.Manage any repairs that are requested for KCAD’s coordination from arrival from offshore to Sonils base to the supplier and then arrange for them to be shipped back offshore.Manage maintenance programme for all machinery operated by KCAD employees and ensure it is adhered to at all times. Ensure operators of this machinery are fully trained and certified.Supervise material movements from warehouse to wffshore and back as per KCAD’s operational policies and Angolan lawManage material movements and storage areas of the equipment/materials for easy and quick accessMaintain and preserve all equipment stored in the warehouse and surrounding areas, ensuring adequate protection from the elements all times and implementation of preservation program Process material requisitions, change orders and purchase requisitions, keeping all records up to date
Key Tasks
Check received equipment and materials conform to PO specificationsConduct regular checks that physical inventories at base and rig match with SAP/IPES inventory reportsEnsure that all hazardous materials are properly segregated and managed.Raise documentation and liaise with suppliers and ExxonMobil logistics prior to shipping materials such as field requests.Facilitate translation of customs documentation from Portuguese with support from local team members.Ensure all of the required documentation is stamped by Customs as ExxonMobil won’t accept documents without this stampFacilitate the relevant sections of the local Change Order processEnsure all activities are in line with relevant KCAD KOMS proceduresFamiliarise self with KCAD SCM procurement processTrack shipping schedules and be prepared to deal with change at short noticeEnsure all direct reports are familiar with ExxonMobil’s shipping process and the Kwada base dock area in SoyoCheck and inspect materials on arrival at the warehouse for any damage during transportation and report immediately should any have occurredManage the warehouse areas and staff in the Kwanda Base, Soyo in order to ensure operations are carried out in a manner that meets KCAD’s health and safety procedures.
Key Skills & Experience
Must have experience of working in small, multi-functional warehouse teamsMust have experience of ERP systems, preferably SAPMust be able to communicate effectively with Operations and SCM personnel at office and rig-site as well as E&M personnel to define M&T requirementsMust have exposure to SCM methodologies: Inventory Management, Supplier Quality Assurance and applicable industry standardsMust have experience of the applicable business interfaces with SCM and Operations required to support operational objectives.Must speak and write fluent EnglishProficient in SAP, Microsoft Word and Excel
Job Specific Skills:
Must possess Full Certification regarding Dangerous good by sea and airStock control and inventory managementExcellent reporting skillsMust have good communication skills to liaise with the offshore team, management and client supervisors on any matters relating to equipment spares and client requirements.Must have a reasonable knowledge of drilling equipment.Must have good leadership and interpersonal skills to mentor colleagues
