We manage the maintenance, operation, and continuous improvement of wind generation assets, safely and with the highest levels of availability and profitability. We also perform the structuring and execution of project partnerships in accordance with overall wind strategy.Do you want to shape the future?Due to retirement of the current manager, we are now recruiting for the position of Manager Operations and Maintenance Onshore Denmark. In this function you will be leading a small team of highly qualified and motivated professionals. You will take end-to-end responsibility for operating and maintaining Vattenfall’s Onshore wind farms in Denmark, with a focus on Health and Safety and including financial steering and reporting.Over the last years, the Danish O&M team has shown excellent operational and health and safety performance. Due to changing market circumstances and an updated strategy, the Danish business and team are going through significant changes in the way we operate and maintain our wind farms.This implies that roles, responsibilities and ways of working are changing. Guiding the team through these changes, in close collaboration with the central departments that provide services to the O&M team, will be an important part of the role of the new Manager O&M Onshore Denmark.Tasks and responsibilities– Responsible for safe, effective and efficient operations and maintenance of Vattenfall’s Danish Onshore Wind fleet, consisting of approx. 10 wind farms spread across Denmark– Lead and manage team of ca. 10 O&M employees with technical, operational and commercial responsibilities; maintain close working relationships with functional team members from Health and Safety and Business Controlling.– Ensure good collaboration with central O&M support functions like the surveillance center, Technical Support and Engineering.– Manage and maintain relationships with key external suppliers for O&M services, ISPs and OEMs, focusing on HSE, quality and continuous improvement.– Participate in strategical projects to improve performance and ways of working across the Onshore country teams, Asset Management central support teams– Active participation in O&M Management team, strategy processes and annual business planning cycle.Personal profile– At least 5 years’ experience in an operational management role, familiar with managing Health and Safety.– Bachelor degree in a technical and/or business discipline.– Good communicator on operational as well as management and strategical level– Excellent business and people manager, team builder and player– Good leadership qualities in line with Vattenfall’s guiding principles (open, active, positive)– Experience in wind industry and with change management are beneficial, but not a necessity– Open, flexible and stable personality able to switch between operational and strategical topics– Fluent in Danish and EnglishOur offerBy being part of Vattenfall you get good remuneration, a challenging and international work environment, and the possibility to work with some of the best in the field.
