DPI’s operates across six continents and implements rigorous safety standards, technological innovations and environmental awareness.Job DescriptionThe mechanical maintenance senior technician is the task leader for the mechanical maintenance technician.
The Mechanical maintenance technician has the responsibility to:
• Execute the maintenance plan and update maintenance history according to the maintenance management process and the SAP maintenance system.
• Carry out all aspects of work in strict accordance with the Mariner Safety Standard Required to perform their work according to relevant procedures and to bring to the attention of their Line Managers any conditions that may adversely impact the management and control of major accident hazards.
• Fault finding, maintaining and operating key equipment
• Ensure accurate logs are maintained for all work carried out and any equipment performance changes are reported and reacted to
• Be competent in the use of Maintenance Management system – SAP, for Notification, Work Order and Material management
• Achieve and maintain mechanical technician competency for designated work activities
• Understand and adhere to company Safety Management System work processes and procedures specific to the role
• Carry out isolations to SIRPE standards (Safe isolation and reinstatement of plant and equipment)
• Act in a role to support the installations Emergency Response organization.
• Carry out the Area Technician role for Control of Work supporting Maintenance and Operations offshore
• Work efficiently with specialist vendors to ensure they complete work safely and efficientlyQualifications• Mechanical Trade background
• Certified to MJI10 / 18 and 19 for flange make up beneficial
• Previous experience as Mechanical technician offshore supporting the liquidation of maintenance activities
• Good working knowledge and understanding of Permit to Work Systems
• Beneficial to have certification to Stage 1 for lifting / rigging operations
• Analytic skills and strategic mindset.
• Computer literate
• Competence in digitalized operations.
