Tasks & responsibilities: You will…

…be the overall responsible for the Logistics department at our factory in Nakskov. This includes very diverse responsibilities regarding purchasing, planning of production and shipment, warehouse, internal transportation and post-manufacturing. You will play a central part by ensuring that the Logistics department is delivering to production in a timely manner, and that the services are delivered in the right quality and quantity.

In addition, a crucial responsibility will be to motivate, coach and lead your team to meet the KPIs for the Logistics department, including KPIs related to safety, inventory level, inventory adjustment/scrap and open purchase orders.
You will also be responsible for:

Using the ERP system, Microsoft Dynamics AX

Executing logistics tasks in the ECM process

Updating the Production Plan weekly, and updating the Demand and Shipping Plan according to the Production Plan

Maintaining and executing intercompany orders between Isle of Wight (UK) and Nakskov

Cycle counts and yearly stock count

Allocating resources, and materials to production

Capacity and maintenance of the warehouse equipment

5S implementation in own area, including waste streams

People Review and Motivation and Performance dialogues in own area, as well as people-related activities

Budget in own area

Training according to the Training Development Program

Skills & experience: Our new colleague…

…has solid experience of managing and developing a Logistics team with more than 20 employees, and at least three years of experience with people management in a manufacturing environment. You must have excellent stakeholder management skills, as you must be able to identify customers and their needs. In addition, you must be an outstanding leader and enjoy motivating your colleagues to create a successful team able to reach towards agreed KPIs.
We expect that you:

Are a strong leader with experience carrying out changes in your organisation

Possess a continuous improvement mindset, and are able to identify and implement new processes in own area

Are confident in Microsoft Office applications

Possess knowledge of ERP systems, such as SAP or AX Dynamics

Have strong communication skills, and speaks and writes English and Danish fluently

Are able to work and collaborate in a dynamic environment
