Novenco technical department, who oversees commercial and technical project execution of HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning) systems for marine- and offshore-projects, is looking for one Lead Project Engineer.
You as a Lead Project engineer
You will be responsible for our technical solution towards our customers during the project phase, ensuring a good relationship and healthy development securing our future business. As part of a dynamic team, you will be responsible for all technical tasks throughout the project execution, including management of system design, specifications and calculations, approval documentation and responsibility of selecting the products for the system. Also including planning, monitoring and controlling, securing that we are on time and deliver according to our expected milestones. You will work in close cooperation with our Project Managers who have the overall responsibility for the projects. You will use Novenco’s project execution model (PEM) and participate in continuous improvement of this tool.
Professional qualifications and experience
You have a technical education with focus on HVAC (mechanical engineer or similar background). You are used to technical meetings with customers, consultants, suppliers and architects. You have experience in working in a project organization and are good at working across departments of an organization. As the main part of our tasks is for foreign customers, your English skills are good. A background in the marine business will be an asset.
Proven record of +8 years of experience in HVAC design with complex projects.
Knowledge of Marine industry is preferred.
Knowledge of HVAC+R products and solutions for Marine Industry is preferred.
You will work from our head office in Køge in a technical strong and motivated team.
The primary task will be to:
- Develop the system design to fulfill technical specification and rule requirements to meet the customer expectations in terms of quality and time within the estimated costs
- Cooperate with the rest of the Project Team in fulfilling the common objectives
- Coordinate/control the other internal and external design resources
- Report progress on design to the Project Manager
- Support the Project Manager in planning and estimating costs and time required for various technical solutions
- Participate in meetings with customers and suppliers
- Produce project related documentation & calculations
Novenco primarily work in the following systems:
- AutoCAD (MagiCAD appreciated)
- Microsoft Office package (including SharePoint and Project)
- Novenco’s own developed configurators
The position can entail travel up to 30-40 days per year.
