Local Unit & Position Description: DNV Maritime Norway has a total of 110 employees, working from 12 offices along the Norwegian coast. The unit is responsible for all our services to the maritime cluster in Norway. The main activities are classification and surveys of ships, mobile offshore units, ocean fish farms and equipment from local manufacturers.We are searching for surveyors to join our team of surveyors in Bergen, Stavanger, Haugesund, Ålesund or Trondheim.In DNV our vision is to be a trusted voice to tackle global transformations.Position Qualifications:Relevant B.Sc or M.Sc education within naval architecture, machinery, structure, electrical/instrumentationExperience as a certified watch keeping officer on ships or offshore unitCuriosity and willingness to constantly develop and expand your competencesPreferably up to 5 years of experience from the maritime/offshore industryGraduates will also be consideredGood communication skills in Norwegian and EnglishTravel activity should be expectedValid driver's licensePersonal qualitiesPassion for working closely with customersSolution-oriented, self-driven and willing to shareOpen to change, proactive, and with a service-minded attitudeAbility to work individually as well as in a collaborative environmentCommitted to safetyPassion for quality systems and the quality of workWe offerA meaningful job with one of Norway’s most attractive employers.
